Virgin Australia | April Fools Fly Cleaning
Social and digital content campaign announcing Fly Cleaning, a tongue-in-cheek April 1 product launch positioning Virgin Australia as introducing the world’s first in-flight dry cleaning service.
The campaign presented the service as a genuine product innovation - allowing travellers to check in their laundry at the airport and collect it freshly cleaned at their destination - blurring the line between brand humour and real utility.
Created in collaboration with The Precinct Studios, the content leaned into straight-faced execution and plausible detail to drive social engagement, press pickup, and conversation. Designed as a social-first announcement, the work used clarity, restraint, and timing to maximise impact across digital platforms.
